Nowhere in Europe lets you compress a meeting trip like Zurich does. The airport train hits the main station in 10 minutes, the financial district is a 7-minute walk from there, and your hotel is probably 4 minutes from your first meeting.
Hotel On The Right Side
Storchen Zurich on the Limmat is the classic. Widder Hotel for the contemporary art crowd. Park Hyatt for the corporate default. All three are 5 minutes from Paradeplatz, which is where everything banking happens.
The Tight Day
08:30 breakfast meeting at Cafe Sprungli on Paradeplatz. 10:00 office meeting in the same square. 12:30 lunch at Kronenhalle - even if you've been a hundred times, this room still does the job. 15:00 second office round. 18:00 drink at Widder Bar.
Dinner at Restaurant Kronenhalle if your guests haven't been, or Razzia in Enge if they have. Be in bed by 23:00 because Zurich isn't a late city and you have an early flight.
What Surprises First-Timers
Cash is more common than you'd expect. Twint is the local wallet. The lake walk from Burkliplatz is the perfect 45-minute decompression between meetings - use it. Tipping is built into the bill but a small round-up is normal.
